P2–P6 CCW Chinese Course

The CCW (Comprehension, Composition, and Writing) Chinese course is specially designed to support students from Primary 2 to Primary 6 in strengthening their literacy and communication skills.

Across all levels, the course focuses on:

Reading Comprehension: Enhancing understanding of texts through proven strategies

Composition Writing: Developing clear, structured, and expressive writing skills

Oral Communication: Building confidence in spoken Chinese through guided practice

Aligned with Singapore’s MOE syllabus, the CCW programme addresses common challenges faced by students at each primary level. It equips them with practical tools to improve academic performance and fluency in real-life communication, while laying a strong foundation for PSLE success in upper primary.

i have been in hua sheng for 6 years. the teachers in hua sheng have shaped me and helped me with my chinese learning. they have taught me different techniques on how to approach these different questions. all of my teachers have been kind to me and have always been willing to help me when i am unable to answer some questions. i have 2 hua sheng lessons per week. one is ACE, and the other is CCW. my ACE teacher has taught me the different ways and types of questions that could possibly come out in the exams. my CCW teacher has taught me how to improve on my composition writing and she has also taught me different 好词好句 for me to write in my composition. overall, i really enjoy going to hua sheng and would recommend my friends to sign up.

My kids have been attending lessons here since young and the teachers always displayed positive attitude and genuine interest in the kids' learning. We have only been a part of Huasheng for 1.5 term and in this short period, the end-of-year oral exam for P5 arrived. With the professional support from the school and Teacher Yang, my son surprisingly achieved a score of 48/50 in the oral exam, which amazed and delighted us. We are deeply grateful for the teacher's patient guidance and teaching methods. We hope my son will continue to work even harder in the future. Previously, my little boy lack of interest in learning Chinese. But after learning in Hua Sheng, he start to talk Chinese with me, and take initiative reading story for me. Laoshi always give feedback to me about how to improve his foundation. Laoshi is really gentle and supportive. Although learning Chinese is not easy job, I believe my boy will build a strong foundation here
